AQI Air quality Index Kya hai ?
AQI ( Air quality index ) Air environment main present harmful chemicals jo ki human body ke liye harmful hai aur Respiration aur lungs ke liye Sufficient Air molecules nahi hai unhe batata hai !
yeh ek standard Method hai jo ki Mainly 5 harmful industry gases chemicals particles ki concentration ko measurement karta hai aur ek specific Area mainly jaha jyada Factory, industry, transport, traffic aur Metro cities ki air Quality ko indicate karta hai .
Recommended 2021 AQG levels compared to 2005 air quality guidelines. µg = microgram ᵃ 99th percentile (i.e. 3–4 exceedance days per year). ᵇ Average of daily maximum 8-hour mean O₃ concentration in the six consecutive months with the highest six-month running-average O₃ concentration.
How AQI is Measured
The AQI is typically measured using the concentrations of five main pollutants:
- Ground-level ozone (O₃)
- Particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) – Small particles in the air that can enter the respiratory system.
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
- Sulfur dioxide (SO₂)
- Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂)
